I have always had an insatiable desire to create beautiful things. For as long as I can remember I have loved different textures, gorgeous fabrics and all things art and design. I knew from a young age that I was drawn to study Fashion, and I graduated from Durban University of Technology in 1997. I enjoyed a few years in the clothing industry, designing ladies and girls wear for most South African chain stores. This was an incredibly exciting time and the experience gained was invaluable.

It has been a great pleasure working on this offering to you, the Sonia Giovanna brand. The pieces are inspired by the modern woman who is naturally stylish and feminine and who has an eye for quality fabrics, beautifully crafted clothing and flattering fits which offer comfort, style and confidence when worn.

The greatest of care has been taken in every design. Each pattern has been individually drafted, only the highest quality fabrics are chosen, and each item has been locally and ethically produced with love to ensure our end product is something we are proud of and that we feel you will cherish and love to wear!

We prefer producing small runs of each design so that we maintain exclusivity and so that you can enjoy a designer garment that is unique rather than mass produced.
